Sri Sathyasai Seva Samithy here celebrated "Harmony in Humanity" programme on December 31 last in a unique way of welcoming the New Year.
The programme is organised every year since 1990 by the Samity by inviting most of the spiritual organisations at Paradip to offer their prayers, bhajans, group songs, devotional songs in the Sai Mandir on the last date of the year. It ends in the midnight by welcoming the New Year.
This year the spiritual organisations like St Mary's Church, Jagannath Samaj, Art of living, Jama Masjid, Satsang Vihar, Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Iswariya Viswavidyalaya, United Church and Gayatri Pariwar participated in the programme. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Rinkesh Roy, Chairman of Paradip Port Trust. Antaryami Pattnaik, convenor of Sri Sathyasai Trust, Odisha, Jagatsinghpur district president Er Bipin Bihari Panigrahi, convener of Paradip Samithy Bibhuti Bhushan Mishra and other devotees of Sri Sahtyasai Seva Samithy organised the programme.
