Local Coast Guard officials have ignored the national daily The Pioneer to avoid being reported in the national press with fairness.
When contacted, Paradip Coast Guard PRO Kanan Sen admitted to have not invited their reporter knowingly. “It all depends on our wish as to whom to invite and whom not to invite,” said Sen.
Notably, the Coast Guard Paradip unit has not yet been able to arrest any of the infiltrators coming through sea route.
During the Governor’s recent visit to ‘Sea Tour on Indian Coast Guard Ship’, all mediapersons were invited except ‘The Pioneer’.
