A rally of the Paradip BJD unit was held in front of the Jayadev Sadan here on Tuesday. Paradip Town BJD president Sumanta Kumar Rout presided over the programme. Health Minister Pratap Chandra Jena was chief guest and Cuttack-Barabati MLA Debasis Samantaray, Mahakalpada MLA Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Erasama-Balikuda MLA Prasanta Kumar Muduli, Jagatsinghpur MP Dr Kulamani Samal and Paradip Municipality Chairman Basanta Kumar Biswal and former Chairman Gobinda Chandra Tarai were present.
They all spoke about the development works of the BJD Government and slammed the BJP and the Congress for their attitude towards the Naveen Patnaik regime.
They also criticised Paradip MLA and expelled BJD leader Damodar Rout. MP Dr Samal narrated how he was tortured by Rout for last four years. Hundreds of BJD workers attended the meeting.
