Intensifying ground-level inspection under the Mo Sarkar initiative, Chief Minister’s Transformation and Initiatives (5T) Secretary VK Pandian on Wednesday visited the Lingaraj Temple here early in morning and reviewed developmental projects for the shrine.
Pandian reached the temple at around 4 am and monitored its inner and outer works. Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo, Works Secretary Krishan Kumar, Khordha ADM Manoranjan Mallik and temple administration officials were present during his visit.
Recently, the State Government had announced a Rs 8.5-crore package for a beautification project of the temple, for which a market complex close to the shrine was demolished.
