BJP National vice-president and newly-appointed Chairperson of High Level Expert Committee to revamp NCC Baijayant Panda met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Saturday to seek his guidance to revamp the NCC and achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to empower youths for national integration.
Panda has been appointed as Chairperson of the High Level Expert Committee constituted by the Ministry of Defence for a comprehensive, objective, independent and through review of the National Cadet Core (NCC).
Besides Panda, the 15-member committee includes Vinaya Sahasrabuddhe, Major General (Retd.) Alok Raj, Col (Retd.) Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod, Anand Mahindra, Sanjeev Sanyal, Prof Vasudha Kamat, Prof Najma Akhtar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Anand Saha, Milind Kamble, Vedika Bhandarkar, Rituraj Sinha, Mukul Kantikar and Mayank Tewari.
