The deserving poor of Burbura village under Alluri GP in Pallahara block have been deprived of Abash Yojana benefits for years together, they alleged before the sub collector, Pallahara on Thursday.
The complainants living in broken thatched houses under wretched conditions are facing a lot of hardships. But they do not get even Government relief including black polythin, they told.
Near about 12 persons under such conditions had applied for houses under Abash Yojana but despite moving from pillar to post, they are yet to get the benefit.
They warned to launch agitation soon if their grievances are not addressed.
Meanwhile, Sub collector Pallahara Ajit Pradhan immediately sent the memorandum to the BDO Pallahara to sort out the matter.
