Pal Charity, a well-known socio-cultural-charitable organisation working for upliftment of the poor and neglected as well as abandoned children in Ganjam district, would celebrate Anweshan Festival-2014-15 at the Kalinga Ashram which is in the heart of the district’s tribal area and not seen by many.
The Pal Charity president in a Press release here said Anweshan is an endeavour to give exposure to the inherent talents of children, more particularly of the abandoned children of the neglected and of the unseen, by conducting various tests like writings, drawings, songs, etc.On the occasion, the Pal Charity would hold a prize distribution ceremony for the winners and participants of the conducted tests at the Kalinga Ashram on the Tamana-Chikiti road on Tuesday.The celebration would include a cultural programme to motivate the neglected and poor children to lead a happy life, said the Press release.
