The Amway Opportunity Foundation, the CSR wing of the Amway India, hosted the annual painting competition ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’ for children here on Saturday.

The themes of the competition were ‘Ideal Diet for Good Nutrition’ for children between the age group of 8-12 years and ‘Wild life and Environment’ for the age group of 4-7 years. Over 90 children of the Amway business distributors and less privileged children from Palli Unnayan Seva Samiti participated in the event.

Additional deputy Commissioner of Police SK Das graced the occasion and presented prizes to the winners of the competition, whereas founder of Kalakar Institute of Art, Dance and Music Shyama Kanta Das adjudged it.

Amway India VP (East) Diptarag Bhattacharjee said this would sensitise the minds of the children about the needs of the underprivileged children and foster a spirit of brotherhood among them.
