Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSPCR) members Geetanjali Bastian and Dr Dibya Sashwati on Friday met the minor girl victim of the recent Joda gangrape, who is undergoing treatment at the Tisco Hospital here.
Later, they held discussions with family members of the victim to collect detailed information about the incident.
They also met Keonjhar district Collector Asish Thakre, who assured them help from the administration for treatment, education and security of the girl.
District SP JN Pankaj informed the OSPCR members about the proactive action taken by police to arrest the miscreants involved in the crime and also assured them of stringent punishment to the culprits.
