The Orissa Secretariat Cricket Association’s (OSCA) general body meeting was held at the Secretariat recently presided over by its working president laxmi Prasad Bhuyan after taking charge. Association general secretary Tarun Chandra Pal read out the annual report.
The new office-bearers for 2017-18 and 2018-19 were elected. Sangram Keshari Mahapatra was elected as president, Tarun Chandra Pal as general secretary and laxmi Prasad Bhuyan was elected as working president for another term.
Maruti Acharya and Himanshu Sekhar Rout were elected as vice president, Sasanka Sekhar Mahapatra, Sanjib Kumar Mishra and R Shanti Swarup as joint secretary, Ratan Kumar Das as treasurer, Padma Charan Rout as sports director, Giris Digal as analyst, BNK Das, Ashok Kumar Mohanty, Bipin Bihari Raul, Prasanna Dash, Prabhu Ranjan Pradhan, Purna Chandra Sadangi and K Rama Rao as working members.
In the meeting discussion were also held on how the 11th Secretariat Premier league (SPl) Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament and 19th Secretariat Cup Cricket Tournament would be held in well organised manner.
