An assessment camp for fitment of orthosis and prosthesis (OP) patients was conducted by the Advanced Rehabilitation Centre (ARC), Bhubaneswar in Jagatsinghpur on Friday.
As many as 31 OP beneficiaries participated in the camp among which 12 were identified as prosthesis (artificial leg), nine orthosis (artificial limb) and 10 children recognised for modified shoes. The RBSK team and two OP professionals as Nihar Ranjan Singh and Udyanath Maharthi from ARC attended the assessment and measurement camp.
The identified beneficiaries will be sent to ARC, Bhubaneswar for further fitment and confirmation of OP items to provide them as soon as possible, official report said.
Jagatsinghpur district Collector Parul Patwari, ADM Satchidananda Sahoo, DSSO, officers from BSSO from different blocks, RBSK manager and representative from Jagatsinghpur Municipality were present.
