To avoid traffic congestion on the Kotdwar-Srinagar national highway, the construction of a six-km long link road had started from near Bubakhal through Gadoli to Srinagar Road.
This work has also been affected by the NGT order. So far Rs 67 lakh has been spent on the construction of the link road. In addition to this the PWD construction division Pauri had also paid compensation to the land holders.
