Former Union Minister and now the lone BJP lok Sabha member from Odisha Jual Oram is likely to be inducted into the Modi Cabinet on Monday.
“Although no one knows yet who all would make it to the Cabinet, Oram’s chances are heavy, because by taking him in, Modi would be sending a strong message to the people of Odisha that despite their near total rejection of BJP, his Government stands committed to the promises he made to the people of the State during his poll campaign,” BJP leader said.
“So far, not a single leader in the party has got the all-important call from Modi’s office. It is possible, as in the case of formation of the Vajpayee Government, that those selected for berth of Minister will get to know about it around or past midnight,” he added.
