The monopoly staffing structure in the Odisha Power Transmission Corporation limited (OPTCl) and power system office has been opposed by the Nikhila Odisha Bidyut Sramika Mahasangh.
While some posts are not there in the power system office, how since a long time salaries are being paid, questioned the Mahasangh general secretary Akshay Kumar Tripathy.
According to the SlDC staffing structure rules, while discussions should be held with employees unions, no discussions are being held with them and posts are being created and lakhs of rupees is being spent. Besides, posts are being abolished arbitrarily. This is illegal, said Tripathy.
He further said immediately the staffing structure should be discussed and decisions taken. The highhandedness in SlDC would not be tolerated any further, Tripathy said.
