Congress MLA Suresh Routray on Thursday demanded that the Government reopen temples and other religions institutions at the earliest.
Raising the issue during the Zero Hour in the State Assembly, Routray said priests and all people depending on temples to earn their living are suffering due to closure of shrines. Thousands of families have lost livelihoods for the last six months.
While the Union Government has allowed resumption of Cinema Halls and other places of congregations, why temples would not be reopened, wanted to know Routray.
