The State Government will on Thursday launch an online system for registration of births, deaths and names of physically-handicapped persons in the State.
The online system of registration is aimed at providing a broad platform for the people to easily register the births, deaths and names of physically handicapped person of their families at the blocks.
Such registration certificates will also be given to them through online, said a Press release issued by the State Health Department. The release informed that 10 million out of 26 million infants taking birth in the country every year go unregistered. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the programme at Hinjili in Ganjam district on Thursday.
