At a time when the Opposition is targeting State Government for not informing the true reason of the farmers’ suicide, yet another debt-ridden peasant ended life in Bargarh district on Monday.
Aditya Kharsel of Bhatli, who was undergoing treatment at the VIMSAR, Burla since December 5 after consuming poison, died on Monday afternoon.
His family members stated that he had grown paddy in four acres of land by borrowing loan from bank and private moneylenders.
As the crops were damaged after scanty rainfall, he was under mental stress and consumed poison.
