One more patient succumbed to dengue while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College Hospital here on Saturday evening. With this, the dengue toll in the premier hospital went up to four this year.
Hospital sources said one Mita Mallick, a native of neighbouring Jagatpur, had been admitted here on Thursdaysuffering from fever.
“She was diagnosed to be suffering from dengue and was under intensive care unit as her blood platelets count was dropping fast,” a treating doctor said informing that she died around 7 pm on Saturday.
