The Mohana police on Monday arrested and court-forwarded a person for allegedly abusing and threatening the local BDO of dire consequences.
According to information, BDO Padmanav Behera had advised one Rabindra Nayak, a private person, not to use the tube well in the block premises for bathing and washing clothes. Stating that the tube-well was meant for use by common people for drinking purpose only, the BDO, however, suggested to Nayak to take water from the tube-well and u se outside. Rabindra was washing his clothes then.
Angry at this, Nayak used slangs at Behera and attempted to attack him.
“We have arrested and court-forwarded Rabindra on the complaint lodged by the BDO,” said Mohana PS IIC Prashant Bhupati.
