Topper of the 1979 batch IAS officer Hrishikesh Panda set a new trend on the day of his superannuation by leaving his Government bungalow in a posh zone of Delhi. And Dr Panda - also a writer- never bothered to go for a post-retirement assignment and left for his native village Kalidaspur in Bhadrak district to spend quiet days at the place which he likes the most. Dr Panda was warmly welcomed by a large number of well-wishers on his arrival at the airport on May 1.
