The Omfed’s recent efforts for excellence have yielded positive results.
At a meeting held in New Delhi on Monday to review the milk situation in the country, the Omfed drew accolades for some of its latest product launches and innovations. Union Secretary for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fishery AK Angurana chaired the meeting. Amul Managing Director RS Sodhi appreciated the excellent taste and packaging of Omfed Rasgola and Gulab Jamun launched recently. The Omfed is now selling 10 lakh packets of milk and its recent Premium Milk has gained good acceptance among consumers.
Several innovative initiatives have been launched by the Omfed due to its Managing Director Bishnupada Sethi’s initiatives. Sethi is also the Secretary of the State’s Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development.
The Omfed Facebook page had 36,917 likes as on Monday and it is one of the most popular social platforms connecting people with the State’s milk major.
