The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (OMFED) has signed an MoU with e-commerce partner Grozip for digital marketing of all OMFED products and home delivery in the State.
The MoU was signed by Grozip’s MD Ananda Mishra and GM Basant Mishra in presence of OMFED Chairman Sarojini Mishra and MD Vishal Gagan on Tuesday.
With the digital platform, OMFED along with Grozip will enable customers to make order online for the products like milk, curd, paneer, butter, dairy whitener, sweet flavoured milk, ice-cream and other desserts.
Initially, the online service will be made available in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Subsequently, it will be extended to other major cities in Odisha.
Through Grozip.com, OMFED affiliated to the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) will reach its customers within three hours.
OMFED has been providing milk procured from over 3 lakh dairy farmers and 4,000 dairy cooperative societies across the State. It aims to make its milk available in entire country and subsequently in worldwide market.
