An elderly woman collapsed on her way to a polling booth during the Tirtol by-election in Jagatsinghpur district and later died at a hospital on Tuesday.
According to reports, Nagari Sethi of Redhua was heading towards the polling station when she collapsed. She was rescued by her family members and rushed to Redhua Community Health Centre for treatment. As woman’s condition deteriorated, she was then shifted to Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital, where a doctor declared her dead.
