A body of an elderly man was found in the Tatanagar-Itwari Passenger train at the Rourkela station on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased was yet to be established till last reports came in. Passengers spotted the body lying in a pool of blood and informed the Government Railway Police (GRP) about it.
The body was recovered by the GRP and efforts were on to ascertain the man’s identity. An unnatural death case was registered in this connection.
Though the reason behind the death was yet to be known, it was suspected that the person was murdered as the body bore grievous injuries.
