The Ola and Uber cabs will stay off roads in Bhubaneswar for an indefinite period as drivers of the two taxi supply firms have launched a strike in protest against the reduction in incentives provided to them by their companies.
The cab drivers have pointed out that the companies were earlier providing them incentives on each trip but are now giving the same on the basis of various packages for which they are failing to earn more by increasing the number of rides besides facing difficulties in repaying car loans.
The drivers have warned to continue the agitation till fulfilment of their demand.
