Coming down heavily on the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government over its recently-launched State Youth Policy, Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) president and Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Sunday said his party would create 25 lakh job opportunities if it comes to power.

Addressing a huge Kranti Samavesh of the OJM at Phiringia in Kandhamal district, Mohapatra also reiterated his contention to convert all the 6,236 revenue villages into gram panchayats, besides ensuring an all-round development of the State if his party comes to power.

He once again predicted about the fortune of his party and said the OJM along with its allies would win between 80 and 85 seats in the coming Assembly elections.

Mohapatra was accorded a rousing welcome on his arrival at the FCI Chhak. He was received by several district-level leaders along with party workers, supporters and common people in large numbers. Five platoons of police forces were deployed at the venue to maintain law and order. OJM secretary general Jagneswar Babu along with many senior party leaders addressed the gathering.
