An Odisha Startup Summit kick-started here on Thursday which was inaugurated by MSME Department Secretary lN Gupta. The Bhubaneswar Startups in association with Trident Group has conceptualised the institutional level start-up summit.
Speaking on this occasion, Gupta said, “I am happy with the initiative by of Bhubaneswar Startups and the Trident Group. This will give a good platform for the aspiring entrepreneurs. There are new incentives undertaken for the start-ups as per the State Government’s start-up policy and the Government is also planning to have Startup Park very soon.”
Over 100 start-up companies of the State along with some enthusiastic engineering and management students who are looking forward to being entrepreneurs have attended the event.
On the first-day, amongst others, some notable entrepreneurs of Odisha like JB Pani, cofounder and director of InDNA life Sciences Private limited, Sanghamitra Jena, founder of Eastern Treasure (I) Tours Private limited, Jaynarayan Pujapanda, founder of Paris Backery and lN Satpathy, executive director, Trident academy participated in the inaugural function. Successful start-ups participated in the panel discussion and shared their journey so far discussing the hindrances and expectations.
