Odisha has topped on two counts so far as good governance is concerned. While the State has topped in human resources development, it has repeated its performance in economic governance.
Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Saturday released the Good Governance Index 2021 prepared by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances on the Good Governance Day at Vigyan Bhawan here.
Odisha, which is in the ‘B’ Group of the States, has performed exceedingly well in human resources development. Similarly the State has also topped in economic governance among the ‘B’ Group States.
The Good Governance Index (GGI) 2021 Framework covered ten sectors and 58 indicators.
