Like last year, an ‘Odisha Mo Paribara’ helpdesk to assist Covid-19 victims opened at Neelakantheswar cremation ground here under personal supervision of Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda. The expenditure for this initiative will be borne by BJD’s Odisha Mo Paribara programme. During last year, cremation of several dead bodies of corona victims were performed at city crematorium under direct supervision Panda. The helpdesk was inaugurated by Brahmapur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu. Members and volunteers of Odisha Mo Paribara will now work shoulder to shoulder with family members of deceased and render all required assistance right from cremation toperformance of rituals in cremation ground which is core objective of help desk, said Panda.
