Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda inaugurated a project of the Incredible India Bed and Breakfast Scheme ‘Odisha Homestay’ here on Thursday.
The scheme’s basic idea was to provide a clean and affordable place for foreigners and domestic tourists, including an opportunity for foreign tourists to stay with an Indian family to experience Indian customs and traditions and relish authentic Indian cuisine.
Proprietor of Odisha Homestay Arnapurna Patra said the scheme has a tag line ‘Feel at home’. “We will try our best to provide our guests the most comfortable home feeling through our facilities and standardised world class services.”
Among others, MlAs Bijay Kumar Mohanty and Priyadarshi Mishra and BMC Mayor AN Jena were present.
