'Odisha Govt has no roadmap for development'

Union Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday criticised the Odisha Government, saying it has no roadmap for the State’s development.

“Here is Government which has eyes but does not see and has legs but does not walk. Here Ministers have no knowledge what the bureaucrats are doing. Hence, going by the current approach of the State Government, all-round development of State can’t be achieved,” said Gadkari while addressing party cadres at the party State headquarters as part of Vikas Utsav.

Earlier addressing a Press conference, the Union Minister said the Paradip Port’s annual capacity would be increased three times, and in next five years Rs 50,000 crore would be invested in the port.

Asserting that there are no illegal tollgates in Odisha, Gadkari said the State has to pay more by way of toll if it wants better roads.
