Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday attended the award ceremony of the Capital Foundation Society in New Delhi on Sunday. The society is a think tank of eminent intellectuals from diverse fields.
Patnaik gave away awards to some distinguished persons in recognition of their signal contribution to different fields, including empowerment of weaker sections & gender justice, legal aid & protection of human rights, environmental protection and & sustainable development, constitutional & administrative law, taxation laws, cooperative & intellectual property laws, entrepreneurial skills and hospital administration and civil services.
Society chairman Justice AK Patnaik, Chairman of law Commission of India Justice AP Shah and former Chief Justice of India Justice RM lodha were present.
Society functionaries Justice AK Patnaik, Dr Vinod Sethi and KB Singh commended the Chief Minister stating that his efforts have enabled the State to attract one of the highest investments in the country and achieve consistently higher economic growth rate well above the national average.
