The Antarjatiya Odia Swabhiman Pratisthana, jointly with the Mahan Sangh would hold a fifth national Odia Swabhiman Sammilani at the Rotary Bhavan in Kolkata on July 31. A preparatory meeting for the Sammilani was held on Thursday.
More than 300 Odia organisations’ representatives from all over the State and country would participate in the event.
Topics on economy, tourism and development of Odisha would be discussed on the occasion. The birth centenary of legendary figure Biju Patnaik would also be celebrated, informed Sushant Sabat of the Mahan Sangh. Successful persons from various fields would be felicitated. Cultural function would also be held, said Sanjay Majhi.
