Odia students at Kota want to return home

Published on:

The guardians of the medical and engineering aspirants of Mayurbhanj district stranded at Kota in Rajasthan due to the lockdown now fervently want their wards back at their homes. They have already written to this effect to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Mayurbhanj district authorities urging for help.

Preeti Dandpat, daughter of Swarup Dandpat, Deepikaa Das, daughter of Dhanajay Das, Shreyaashree Das, daughter of Tarukant Das and Anubhav Sethi, son of Rama Chandra Sethi, among several others, are presently at Rajasthan’s coaching hub Kota. But now that the entrance examinations have been postponed indefinitely, they seek to come back to their native places.

The Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh have already brought back such students to their respective States by special buses, the aggrieved guardians pointed out.
