US-based Odia biotech scientist and social worker Dr Sitikantha Dash has donated 15,000 dollar or Rs 11,43,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Covid-19.
Dr Dash belongs to Salepur of Cuttack district and owns a lab in the US. He is also the founder of Dr Dash Foundation, which is engaged in various humanitarian works across the globe. The foundation runs an innovation centre at the IIT Bhubaneswar.
Dr Dash is also known for establishing various temples and educational institutions at his village. He is devoted to propagation of Odishan culture in the US.
