Aiming at overall development of Odisha and addressing various issues of Odias staying outside the State, an organisation called Odisha Without Border is going to organise a national conclave of Odias in Bangalore on August 9.

A huge number of Odias staying outside the State would gather in the conclave, said Odisha without Border convener Suryaprakash Mohapatra. They would include over 200 delegates from various Odia organisations working in different major cities of the country. Many leaders of different political parties of Odisha and eminent persons from various walks of life are also expected to attend the conclave.

By uniting non-resident Odias and taking up the various issues relating to their interests, the organisation would act as a bridge between the non-resident Odias and Odisha and work as their collective voice, said another office-bearer of the organisation and founder of Bangalore-based IT  company Ignis. After holding the conclave in Bangalore, the organisation would conduct its next programmes in different cities of Odisha, he said.
