The Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association (NYCA) concluded its 25th annual cultural show with pomp and show recently.
NYCA president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi presided. On the inaugural day, Bhubaneswar North MlA Priyadarshi Mishra, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, Corporators of Ward No. 8 and 14 Monalisha Sahoo and Debi Prasad Mallick, educationist Chandra Sekhar Pati and activist Monoj Sahoo (Akhi) joined as the guests. In the valedictory function, activist Dillip Kumar Mohanty, organiser Susanta Kumar Sabat, advisor of Niladrivihar Residents Association and lawyer Manmohan Pattnaik joined as the guests.
They lauded the association for its activities of the past 25 years.
Many distinguished personalities were honoured. General secretary Biswajit Pattnaik (Silu), cultural secretary Bata Krushna Panda, vice president Sisir Moharana and treasurer Prakash Sahoo (Gagan) were present. ‘Phaguna re Ranga Kheliba Mana” by Golekh Moharana and ‘Pabitra Sampark' by Nabaghan Roul were staged. More than 6,000 witnessed the show.
