The Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association (NYCA) celebrated the Rasagola Day here on Sunday.
On the occasion, the association’s members under the leadership of its president Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi firstly offered the famous sweet to the deities on the Rath near the Jagannath temple at Sailashree Vihar and later distributed it among public to celebrate the day.
NYCA general secretary Biswajeet Patnaik, Batakrushna Panda, Sisir Kumar Maharana, Kumar Barik, Gadadhar Prasad Rath and members of the Jagannath Seva Trust were present. The members also said that the State Government should again take steps to prove that Rasagola is of the Odisha origin.
