In a development in the nursing girl student Kuni Kanhar suicide case in the capital city on Sunday night, a handwritten note, suspected to have been written by her, was recovered on Monday.

As per the note, she was suffering from insomnia, for which she took the extreme step. Holding no one responsible for her death, she has apologised to her family members and friends in the note.

Police seized the note while efforts were on to ascertain whether it was written by her or not.

Kanhar, a first year nursing student who hailed from Balangir district, was found hanging in her hostel room of a private nursing college at Jamukoli under the Airfield police station on the outskirts of the city.
