: Nuapada Chief District Veterinary Officer (CDVO) Trilochan Dhal, who had been intercepted by Vigilance officials on Sunday with unaccounted cash, was forwarded to court of Special Judge Vigilance in Bhawanipatna. The court remanded Dhal to judicial custody till August 20. On Sunday, Vigilance officials intercepted CDVO’s near Tarini temple in Nuapada, while he was on way to Cuttack on a Government Swift Dzire car. During interception, Rs 2.27 lakh cash was found in his possession, which he could not account for satisfactorily. During search, 50,000 cash from his office table drawer and Rs.51,200 cash were found from his Government residential quarter at Nuapada. The total amount of Rs 3.28 lakh was seized.
