Nuagaon revenue village under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) was on Friday sealed and declared as a containment zone for Covid-19 containment.
The BMC in an order said that as many as ten Covid cases have been detected in the area for which it was necessary to declare the area as a containment zone and restrict public from entering into and going out of the area.
All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home. All shopping establishments, Government and private institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone have been closed.
The BMC will ensure supply of essentials/medicines in the containment zone. The inhabitants can call Helpline No. 1929 for any requirements/ complaints.
