A workshop entitled “Energy audit techniques towards reducing AT and C losses” for OPTCl, Gridco and four distribution companies was held here on Wednesday. It was organised by the NTPC.
Under its Customer Relationship Management System, the NTPC conducts three programmes in each year for its esteemed customer Gridco/OPTCl/Discoms.
The programme was inaugurated by Director (F&CA) Gridco/OPTCl BP Mahapatra.
Director (HR) OPTCl Rajendra Kumar Senapati, Chief load Despatcher, SlDC, MR Mohanty, CGM (PP), Gridco UN Mishra, CGM(O&M), OPTCl PC Tripathy, GM(Commercial) NTPC AN Mishra and GM(HR) NTPC AN Verma were present.
GM (Commercial), NTPC Mishra highlighted the importance of distribution sector in electricity value chain and power scenario in Indian market.
Director (F&CA), Gridco/OPTCl Senapati mentioned that AT and C loss can be reduced by introducing new techniques and adoption of advanced technology.
