A meeting of BJD leaders and workers of Nimapara Assembly constituency was held here on Tuesday under the chairmanship of MlA Samir Ranjan Dash.
The meeting, aimed at strengthening the party from grassroots level, discussed as many as 11 issues, including constitution of ward committees, students, youths, women, minority, backward classes and farmer wings.
Dash emphasized on development of panchayats and ZP zone-wise observation and holding of monthly meeting in every panchayat.
Among others, Nimapara, GOP presidents Prasanna Mohanty, Madhu Paikray, block Chairman Manaswini Khatoi, NAC Chairman Sanatan Pradhan, NAC BJD president Jibanananda Mohapatra, former Chairman Pradipta Khatoi, MP nominee Sudhir Ranjan Dash, Ashok Sahoo, sarpanchs, PS members and leaders of student, youth and women wings were present.
