Sengupta along with some other teachers like Brajamohan Barik and Purna Chandra Thakur are remembered by the people of older generation for their great teaching ability and discipline.

A meeting, convened by Nakul Sabar, present headmaster of the school, was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Balabhadra Mahauty, one of the old students as well as former teachers of the school to discuss about celebration.

It was decided that the jubilee would be held from October 19 to 22.
