The BJP Zilla Krushak Morcha, Nuapada announced the names of its working committee and zonal committee members at Khariar on Wednesday.
While Sanjay Tiwari had been selected as the president earlier, a list of 31 members of the working committee and names of 17 zonal committee presidents were declared at a Press Meet on the day. Ramadhar Barik, Bhagatram Meher, Kaushalya Jal and Budhuram Sahu were selected as the vice-presidents while Abani Ranjan Joshi and Shankar Ahir named as general secretaries. likewise, Radheshyam Rana, Bimal Josjhi, Umakanta Meher, Jagdish Sahu and Tanka Behera were selected as secretaries.
BJP district president Siba Mund, State executive committee member Jadumani Panigrahi, Manijar Arya, Gautam Tandi and Sanjay Tiwari were present.
On this occasion, the elected members criticized the Government for delaying payment of input subsidy to farmers and non-functioning of mandis for procuring Rabi paddy in the district. They demanded completion of lower Indra Irrigation Project at the earliest.
