The number of jaundice-affected patients has touched 3,000-mark in Sambalpur district with one more patient of Takaba village tested Hepatitis-E positive at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here on Saturday.
According to sources, 1,935 patients at the DHH, 1,027 at various nursing homes and 38 patients at the VSS Medical College Hospital at Burla have been tested positive in the district till date.
