The new admission guidelines of the North Orissa University (NoU) have been protested by the Bhanja Sena, a students’ union of Mayurbhanj district.
Opposing the non-formation of syndicate of the university, which has created several problems, the Sena gave an ultimatum of two days to the university authority to solve all problems concerning the local students of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar. At a Press meet, Bhanja Sena leader Rakesh Singh condemned the NoU policy and alleged that a lot of irregularities are taking place in the varsity.
