The Bhubaneswar Government Railway Police (GRP) on Thursday arrested notorious train looter Kadam alias Islam of Medinpur in West Bengal along with one Raju Majhi of Bhadrak for committing theft in running Howarh-Chennai mail.
Two lady vanity bags containing cash, medicines and women cosmetic items including one Bajaj Pulsar Motor cycle were recovered from their possession. “As many as 19 cases are pending against Kadam in several police stations in Bhubaneswar. He was booked under various Sections of IPC and Arms Act,” said Bhubaneswar GRP IIC Soubhagya Swain.
