Hundreds of teachers, students and locals remembered noted communist and teacher leader of the Kujang area late Bibhuti Bhushan Pattnaik on the occasion of his second death anniversary.
At a memorial meeting held at his native place, Balarampur, Kujang, many eminent persons from different areas like former Paradip Municipal High School Headmaster Manoranjan Das, former Paradip Municipality Chairman Govinda Chandra Tarai, educationist Gandharva lenka, Nishakar Muduli, former Gandharva panchyat Sarpanch Harekrushna Samal highlighted the contribution of late Pattnaik to the society in the field of education, health and development of human values.
The late leader’s eldest son Saroj Kumar Pattnaik, who is also the president of Bibhuti Bhusan Pattnaik Memorial Committee, too attended the meeting.Assam Governor JB Patnaik had inaugurated a statue of late Pattnaik on the occasion of his first death anniversary in 2013 at Balarampur.
