Though he likes to be with people to sort out their problems but unfortunately he is not getting the cooperation from the State Government and district administration, alleged Union Tribal Affairs Minister and Sundragarh MP Jual Oram here.

Citing the example of Talcher-Bimlagarh rail line, Oram said while he was a Minister in the AB Vajpayee- led NDA Government, he had succeeded in getting the project approved by the State Government. And, now within a year, the Railways Ministry has already sanctioned `280 crore and there will be no fund crunch in future for the project.

Despite this, the project work is not moving ahead due to problems in land acquisition which is a State affair and the Central Government has nothing to do with it. Similarly, he has been trying his best with the Railway Minister for Rourkela Rail Division but unfortunately, the State Government is not recommending in favour of the project to the Centre.

Besides, Juel said within a year due to his effort, he got success in getting the Centre's nod to the projects like second Brahmani bridge, expansion of Biramitrapur-Barkote NH, hanging bridge, rope way, tribal museum, tribal cultural centre, expansion of Rourkela Airport, up-gradation of IGH to a MCH, Passport Seva Kendra, skill development centre etc. But due to non-cooperation of State Government and the district administration, many projects are yet to start. Even in many cases obstructions are created knowingly which is known to public very well, added Jual.

He further said Sundergarh is a tribal district and the people have many problems. So he will have to work more for the betterment of the people.
